An important aspect to selling handmade items is determining your target market so that you can pick which venues to sell your products. If you are selling high-end ceramics, you will do much better at an art/fine crafts show than at a street festival. Likewise,
if you are selling hand-made pop-guns and dream-catchers, you will be wasting your money by attending a fine crafts event. For these types of products, try festivals and traditional craft bazaars to find your target buyers.
