We all tend to complicate matters when it comes to opening a business! Tax professionals, authors of detailed business models and even well intentioned family and friends can make your initial business venture seem overwhelming! I've found if you follow a few old-fashioned priciples, you can do well in almost any business. The first and most important is that you should start your business with as much cash and as little debt as possible. The second is that the customer IS always right (even when they are wrong!)
