Getting Started

Sunday October 8, 2006
A great discussion is going on in the forum all about getting started. If you are new to the craft-business scene, be sure to check out this thread about selling crafts for the first time. My advice is to start small and start specialized. That means that you should not go out and borrow thousands of dollars to start your craft-selling venture. And watch out that you do not try to sell every different type of craft that's out there your first time around. You should make the decision to sell something unique so you have your own niche and are not competing with every other crafter at shows you may attend.
