Bank Of America Credit Cards

Sunday February 18, 2007
Bank of America is now issuing credit cards to people without a social security number. Many vendors are saying that this increases risk for the merchant. If you do accept Bank Of America cards or any other cards for that matter, you must verify the card by using the machine/method that your merchant account provides to help reduce the chance of taking a card that is bad. I recommend taking to your merchant account people and find out about verification of card while you are at a show. Technology has helped make this process easier for many vendors. However, not all crafters verify at the point of sale. Make sure that you protect yourself as much as possible by setting up your "swiping machine" so that it verifies the card while you are making the sale.

No social security number? Why don’t we just give the U.S. to the terrorists and illegal aliens?

I don’t take credit cards and I don’t plan to any time in the future, since Bank of America has become Bank of Mexico.
