Flea Markets, Festivals And Craft Shows, Oh My!

Sunday February 18, 2007
One of the toughest lessons newbie sellers learn is that all events that have crafts for sale are not right for them. Some vendors may make thousands at family "eat and meet" festivals, while others will actually lose money at the same events. Be sure you match the shows to your crafts. If you sell a high-end artsy product, street festivals are probably not right for you. Try fine craft and art shows to sell that type of products. Likewise if you sell inexpensive wooden products that seem to appeal to a larger audience, try sticking a little closer to home with festivals and smaller craft fairs. ivals and smaller craft fairs.
