If you have procrastinated, you may be facing or passing the deadline for taxes this year! Remember should you need more time, you can request an extension for filing your taxes, but you must still pay any taxes owed to the IRS by the deadline. To me, this has always sounded kind of silly. If you know how much tax is due, haven't you already calculated your taxes? Oh well, for people with a lot of paperwork, this may be a helpful rule, but for most of us, I recommend paying and filing your taxes at the same time, by the deadline.
