Staying Local

Sunday June 17, 2007
Selling crafts at shows close to home can be a real profit maker for some crafters. Especially when you consider the high cost of fuel these days! If you do not have to travel far, you can cut fuel costs, lodging expenses and the time that it takes to get to a show. When you reduce one or all of the above aspects to a craft show, you increase your profit margin. Even smaller events can bring in more money when you cut expenses. So whether you are just starting out or are a seasoned veteran, think about attending local shows to help grow your business.
