Starting Out

Sunday July 8, 2007
Are you a hobbyist who is thinking of taking your craft to the professional level? There are several factors to consider when starting your craft business. First off make sure that you set your pricing low enough so that people will actually buy from you, but high enough so that you are making money! Secondly, don't start off by borrowing thousands to attend the big shows. You can grow a business with cash if you take your time and don't rush things. If you get in over your head with too many loans, your dream of running a craft business may very well turn into a debt-ridden nightmare!
