Years ago, we advertised our products in the Sampler publications with some success. However, most publications are not suitable for advertising your crafts and all of them even the Sampler mags are expensive. First, I would stay away from magazines that are totally unrelated to crafts and secondly, if you do advertise in a craft-related magazine, make sure you have inventory on hand. When you spend lots of money on any type of new advertisement, you want to make sure you have enough stock on hand to make the venture worth your while.
