Accounting Software

Sunday December 9, 2007
What sort of accounting software works best for an arts and crafts business? We have used QuickBooks for years and the program is so robust that it should work fine for just about any business including crafts. From calculating retail tax to keeping track of mileage and expenses this seems to be the program for me. What sort of accounting software would you recommend to others and why?

Best Consignment Shop Software recently released an Introductory version of their consignment software for $99. Crafters have found it suitable for tracking customers, processing sales and recording disbursements. Address and price labels can be printed and the program includes a built-in editable sales agreement that auto-fills crafter and customer information when printed. Sales tax and change due to the customer are auto-computed and displayed. Several sales reports are available including Invoice List, Payment Recap, Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly Totals. Included in the price are free advertising online, a manual and tutorial, data backup, restore storage and refreshes and free updates. Personal phone tutoring is available - 30 cumulative minutes for $19.
