Updating Your Website

Sunday January 20, 2008
If you do not update your site on a regular basis you could not only lose repeat customers, but you could also hurt your sites rankings in search engines. Remember that people who come to your site are very likely interested in buying your products. Make sure you keep them informed of any and all new product lines. Some site owners even post news about their business and family on a regularly updated blog. It's also not a bad idea to update your show circuit on your site as well. If you let people know when and where you will be on a certain date, you can actually increase your real-world sales through your online entity.

Something important I did not see mentioned was adding a way to allow visitors to sign up for a newsletter. Updating your website is very important but visitors will only know when they go to your website repeatedly. Using a mailing list is a proactive approach. It will tell them to come visit your site so you can showcase your new things.
Check out our site Ella House. We’ve put our mailing list sign up box on the front page though we should probably put it in other pages.
