Stressful Situations

Sunday March 30, 2008
You got to admit, at large shows with thousands of people visiting your booth in an endless stream, events can sometimes be quite stressful. When we leave shows like that, I tend to want to go back to the hotel at the end of the day with some take-out and just be alone. What's the biggest "stress factor" you face at shows and how do you deal with it?

It IS stressful. But every vendor should know this and be prepared to deal with it. Keep small high energy snack items in the booth to help renew your energy. Drink lots of water. If you can, have all supper foods prepared - or, even better, eat out - then get lots of sleep. No one said it would be easy–but it can be lots of fun!
