View Photojournalist Contest Winner's Work
Featuring award-winning works by photojournalists, The World Press Photo Exhibition will be in Charlottesville, VA from June 5 - 28. This year’s competition attracted 5,508 photographers from 124 countries.
In addition to viewing the photography, you'll also have an opportunity to hone your photographic skills by taking classes in digital workflow - Apple’s Aperture 2 and Adobe’s Lightroom 2.
And here's another bonus - the festival is described as having 'many exhibitions, outdoor screenings and projections ... transforming historic downtown Charlottesville into a “living image” with photographs hanging in the trees, projected in storefront windows and on the sides of buildings, as well as in all the galleries.' , so it should be a good opportunity to not only see some awesome photographic work, but checking out how the images are projected may serve as inspiration for non-traditional displays for your own arts and crafts shows.
