If you are an amateur or professional photographer, you'll want to check out this Memorial Day photography contest sponsored by Funeralwise.com. The subject of your photos must convey the meaning and emotion associated with Memorial Day in cemeteries across the United States.
There is a $500 Grand Prize, 1st prize of $250 and 2nd prize of $100. The submission deadline is June 15, 2011.
Twelve finalists will be selected with the photos displayed on Funeralwise.com's Facebook pages. Facebook fans will be invited to vote for their favorite photos. Winners will be determined by the fan votes.
