I love Selvedge magazine. In addition to having relevant, interesting arts and crafts info in each issue, they also post some great directions on their website. Case in point, this one-page silk chrysanthemum pattern that you can download FOR FREE via a pdf file.
I reason I bring up the chrysanthemum pattern is that it relates to one of my previous blogs, Fashion Trend Worth Trying, that talked about hand crafted floral barrettes with price tags ranging from $52 to $175 per barrette.
