Ok, at first I thought this was kind of creepy. I've never been a fan of funeral jewelry and this kind of seemed along the same lines. But I have to admit, after reading the book, I'm seeing the cuteness of this. I can totally see smooshing up a cat shape to go with a doll for a young girl's holiday present. And, once you have the hair, it doesn't seem like it would take a lot of time to create.
Crafting With Cat Hair by Kaori Tsutaya provides instructions on making various shapes such as finger puppets with 'harvested' cat hair. If you've ever owned a cat you know what I mean by harvested!
