Has Anyone Used CCnow?

Sunday April 11, 2004
"I'm checking out putting my items on the web and don't like Paypal at all. I know html and can fiddle with JavaScript but I can't for the life of me get the hang of putting together the shopping carts from scratch. So, I'm wondering has anybody sold on CCnow.com's website? How did you do? Can anybody suggest another alternative?"

We have used CCNOW services right from 2000 onwards and we must admit except for the 9% commission that CCNO charges, it is an excellent service. Over the years, we have seen the site provide so many tools to make shopping (selling) a pleasure. Visit http://www.kochekada.com to see how it is done

I have used Ccnow for many years, it is a good service, you can save a few cents using pay pall, but consider the features Ccnow offers you such as sales reports,(monthly, yearly) and customer service, 9% is well worth it.

We’ve used ccnow for years. it offers many of the best services around, including a bulk upload of products. Would recommend over ebay or PayPal even on a bad day!

I’ve used CCNow almost since they went online, because they were, at that time, more international than PayPal. They have consistently upgraded their service, and their website is very easy to use. They are no more expensive than a merchant account, which is such a hassle. In the years I’ve used them, I have never had a security problem. If you want to use credit cards on your site, I can recommend no better than the CC.

It’s funny you ask that, the site is down today. I have used them since 2000 and they have always been great , first time I’ve ever seen it down and I hope everything is ok - maybe just a server upgrade.

I purchased something from a client that uses CCNOW, called LEDshoppe and it was easy transaction for me. But this is simply from a buyers prospective.

Too expensive! PayPal, which takes credit cards too, is something like 2% compared to CCNow’s 9%. Plus with PayPal you can get your money right away; CCNow makes you wait a month. CCNow instantly sides with the customer. This happened to me: a customer didn’t recognize the charge on their cc bill, so they called CCNow and said they didn’t order it. WHAM it was refunded, w/o even asking me! It took a LOT of work to get my money back. Among online shoppers, PayPal has name recognition, CCNow doesn’t. I switched to PayPal in ‘04 and never looked back.

CCnow, story of my life, I read all the positive feed bakes and I went for them, it’s the worst service I ever seen, customer service for sellers is a disaster, I sent 2 emails and never get any respond to them, if you call the phone support, there is only one guy answering the phone with a none professional way, “I called more than once” for the fees they charge, they should be way way way better than that, in a scale from 1 to 10, over all I’ll give them a 2
