Help For Beginner

Sunday January 23, 2005
Artistgus1 says: "I plan on starting to do craft fairs, and perhaps a kiosk at the mall, this year. I have to say that the applications sound a bit daunting, and I imagine that will definitely be my least favorite thing about this. So I have a few questions:

1. Are plants, driftwood arrangements, and seashell arrangements considered crafts by these fairs? Have you seen much in the way of this? I have a little idea, something I laid out on my own table, and sold many of already. But I don't know if they technically qualify as craft?

2. Where do you find out about "small" craft shows. I would like a little experience before going for one of the larger shows.

3. How many shows require you bring your own tables? And does anyone know a good place to get them? What are the best ones to get?"
