Fancy Show Displays

Sheerblissby says: "I know that you always have to be concerned with the weather at any show, but I am very particular about the image and overall look of my display. With this in mind I have purchased a fancy tent with a wrought iron trellis frame and am using sheer curtains to drape at corners etc. I will of course be ready for any bad weather with plastic tarp and clamps. I looked into EZ-ups, but the color and style doesn't do it for me for what I want to portray."

i realize this is an old posting, but figured i would respond regardless. if you are thinking of participating in the art and craft show circuit, i would strongly advise purchasing a Light Dome canopy, or at least an ez-up. The light dowm is more efficient in the long run, although it takes a little longer to set up. its sturdy, and thigns like zippered sides make quick weather-proofing possible. the main advantage of the light dome is the roof. when it rains, the water falls to the sides, as opposed to other triangular canopy roof types that just trap the water, and eventually leak. i used an ez-up for four years until switching to the light dome, and i would never go back. and no, i don’t work for the company! i’m just speakign from experience. if you are thinking about getting create wiht your display, remember that some shows require a standard white canopy. so, before you invest, so a little research and ask a lot of questions. i hope this is helpful.
