Preventing Fraud At Shows

Sunday October 1, 2006
As time goes on, people who want to steal from vendors at shows are becoming quite clever! But old-fashioned methods of stealing from crafters are still used quite frequently. Just the other day a friend of mine had a $2000 laptop stolen at a show while waiting on a busy crowd of customers... Watch out for your valuables while you are in your booth, especially when you get busy. Do not leave cash or anything else of value out in the open when you are attending a show. Remember, when you get distracted, thieves may be waiting to make their move!
