Credit Card Solutions

Sunday September 9, 2007
There are literally thousands of different companies that you can use these days to accept credit card payments. Before you decide on a merchant account, ask yourself a few questions. First of all, will all of your sales be point-of-sale, meaning will the customer be present with the card in hand? If not, make sure you compare rates. Most merchant accounts charge quite a bit more when you do not swipe the card through a reader. Also another thing to consider is how many transactions do you expect to take in an average month. If you will be doing quite a few sales, you may qualify for lower per-transaction fees from your merchant account.
