Offline Marketing for your Online Venture

Sunday January 13, 2008
One of the most effective ways to market your website is to tell your existing customers about it. Print your address on all of your literature from business cards to wholesale price sheets. Use signage in your booth to let people know you have an online presence. And it doesn't hurt to do a good old-fashioned mailing to let your exiting customers know when your site launches.

hi, i’ve found doing an occasional print ad in my local area newspaper w/my website url helps w/recognition

another idea, it actually combines online and offline marketing of one’s online venture, is a press release that’s targeted to both print and web journalists and news agencies

fineartviews newsletter has done a few articles on this subject, and i posted one of my reply comments on my site with links to the original article

and lastly, if you do art or art/craft shows, you can plug your site really hard there too; my wife and i did artexpo newyork 2007 last year and drove a lot of people to our website from that

we put our web url on everything now, business cards, flyers, posters, even gicless

thanks ya’ll,

adan
