A powerful word processor can be a valuable tool for your business. Not only can you create letters, but you can also create business cards, letterhead, fliers, booth signs and more! When picking your word processor, you should keep the following in mind. The software should be fairly easy to use and have multi-functions. Below you will find my top three favorite word processors.

1) Microsoft Word

Word is now the only word processor I use. It has so many functions that I have found it to be useful for many purposes. Creating labels for mass mailing is a snap! The business card tool is also an often-used feature in my office. It comes bundled with Microsoft Office, but you can also purchase it separately.

2) Microsoft Works

An awesome product I recently had the opportunity to try out. The "Suite" comes with a word processor, spreadsheet, database software and photo editing tools. The learning curve seems to be low and the price is right.

3) WordPerfect

A favorite piece of software among many professional users for years. WordPerfect comes in many different office suite packages just like MS Word, so be sure to shop around to get only the features you need.
