The Internet provides a new media for craftspeople to market crafts. Here are the basic steps involved to get you started.

Here's How:
  1. Find a reliable Web Developer for consultation.
  2. Decide what Domain name you will use.
  3. Find an ISP to host your Web site.
  4. Choose a merchant account that will accept MOTO (Mail Order/Telephone Order) transactions.
  5. Build (or hire someone to build) your site.
  6. Register your site with major search engines/directories.
  7. Put your URL on all printed material including business cards, brochures and signage.
  8. Add your URL to any advertising you may have.
  9. Ask to cross-link with any appropriate sites.
  10. Continually market (or hire someone to market) your site.
