If you attend one outdoor craft show a year or regularly attend outdoor events, you will need to consider purchasing protection for your booth. Nothing can ruin a show (and possibly thousands of dollars in merchandise) more than bad weather. You've worked hard on your products. Be sure you adequately shelter them when outside!

How often will you attend an outdoor event? If you will only attend a few shows a year, a very inexpensive canopy may be sufficient protection. Sometimes a show will be held outdoors, but under a very large tent. In this case you will not even need your own canopy. But, if you will be attending many outdoor shows, you will need to invest in a more expensive, heavy-duty shelter for your booth.

Options
Canopies can come with a variety of options, but be sure you do not spend more than required to protect your booth. Due to wear and tear, each time a tent is used, it loses value. That high-dollar canopy with air conditioning, windows and awnings might be nice for a while, but if you have to replace it every few years, you may find some of the extras do not mean so much.
