Book Review
Taming the Marketing Jungle
Publisher: Hara Publishing Group This is a great book about unique ways to market almost any business, product or service. The book is well suited for just about anyone in need of marketing ideas. The ideas are well organized and get to the point quickly. It includes creative ideas on things like using newsletters as promotional tools, word-of-mouth advertising, better ways to speak on the phone and in person, how to use testimonials to your advantage and many more inexpensive but effective ideas. I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick and easy read. Due to all the real-life examples it contains, it was also fun to read. More importantly, I found new ideas for my craft business as well as for several online ventures I am involved in. If you are involved in promoting a product or service, “Taming the Marketing Jungle” should prove to be very helpful in getting your creative juices flowing. Silvana Clark’s marketing experience includes the successful promotion of “Sherman”, her floppy-eared springer spaniel into TV commercials including Honda, Chrysler, Re Devil Pain she has written t, Reebok, Cummings Generators and many others. Along with “Taming the Recreation Jungle,” she is the author of over 100 magazine articles. Silvana has also marketed “PANIC” buttons for frustrated computer users. Over 60,000 of these novelty computer keys have been sold without any form of paid advertising. William T Lasley, your Guide for Arts/Crafts Business
