What Types of Arts or Crafts do you Handcraft?
I have been doing artistic scrollwork for 25+ years and now have over 100+ peices of art work in privite collections all over the USA plus one peice over in London UK.
Most of my work involves using live edge planks of wood that I get at local sawmills, this creates a one of a kind work of art, due to not only the live edge but some of the wood has spalted giving the color and look a very unquie work.
Do you Sell Wholesale or Retail?
I sell my work at shows and galleries, because it takes anywhere from one to three weeks to cut out a peice, all of my work is sold retail. The on-line gallery I use to display and sell my work is; NativeMotif.com They add on to the price you ask for plus shipping and handling.
Lessons Learned
- I have learned over the years to never price your artwork too low. I used to sell my work to cheap and some peices I never could sell, until I placed them in a art gallery and increased the price by several hundred dollars and sold all withing two months, I have not look back since.
