What Types of Arts or Crafts do you Handcraft?
We make fun custom-made pillowcases for every special occasion. We can embroider a person's name on them, a favorite quote, a favorite scripture, whatever someone would like embroidered on the cuff. Everyone uses a pillowcase, so they make wonderful gifts. We make pillowcases for baptisms to retirement, and life in between.
Do you Sell Wholesale or Retail?
We sell both wholesale and retail. We have a store in North East, PA, which is about 20 minutes north of Erie, PA. We also sell of our web site at www.pillowcasegram.com . Lessons Learned
- I have learned that when you are in business you must always get your name out there, especially in a bad economy. The internet makes this so easy to do, such as Twitter, Facebook, etc. I try to spend at least an hour a day doing something to keep my business name out where people can find it. It's easy to let that slip, because it is time-consuming, so I try to block out at least an hour a day to do something in marketing on the internet.
